FAQs

  • Why should I work with Surrogate One?

Many of our staffs are directly related to third party assisted reproduction, some are compassionate surrogate mothers, and some of them becoming parent by the help of third party. We can know much more of your feelings. Match you with a more suitable Intended Parent(s). Arrange every step of your surrogacy journey, from the fertility process, pregnancy, delivery and post-delivery.

  • Will I meet Intended Parent(s)? What level connection should I have with them?

In fact, we encourage you to have a good communication with IP. You can share the growth of fetus in the whole surrogacy journey. Allow IP to participate more in the pregnancy, such as sending the pictures of ultrasound. Even after the delivery, many IP still keep in touch of their surrogates. But ultimately depends on you and IP to discuss this and find a comfortable level to contact.

  • What is the difference between gestational surrogacy and traditional surrogacy?

The main difference between gestational and traditional surrogacy is : in traditional surrogacy, the surrogate’s eggs are used, making her the biological mother of the child she carries; in gestational surrogacy, the surrogate has no biological link to the baby.

In a gestational surrogacy, Intended Parents create embryos through IVF, using their own genetic material or eggs from a donor. One or more fertilized embryo is implanted into a gestational carrier, who will carry the resulting child/children to term, but bears no genetic relationship to them.

  • If I have had my tubes tied. Can I still be a surrogate?

Absolutely YES! Gestational surrogacy is implanting the embryo directly into your uterus. Your tubes are not needed, so tubes tied won't affect you to be a surrogate mother.
