Surrogacy Steps

The steps below provide general steps of what to expect. Our coordinator will help guide you through each step. Sometimes the steps maybe a little bit different between states.

  1. Step1:Application

    If you meet our requirements for surrogate candidates, please fill out the application form.

  2. Step2:Consultation

    After receiving the application, our coordinator will contact you within 24 hours to confirm a face-to-face consultation meeting, so that we can know more about your situation and your requirements, complete more detailed forms and answer your questions at the same time.

  3. Step3:Profile

    If you decide you would like to move forward as a surrogate, we will list your picture and basic information to intended parents.

  4. Step4:Initial Pre-Screening
    • Sign Medical Release document

    • Background check

    • Insurance Review

    • Previous OB/GYN records

    • Labor record and delivery records for each previous pregnancy

    • Medical history review

    • Psychological Consultation

  5. Step5:Matching and Meeting
    • Intended Parent(s) and you review each other's profile separately

    • Have a Match Call with Intended Parent(s), to know each other more intuitively

    • Confirm match with your Case Manager

  6. Step6:Medical and Psychological screening

    Once you have matched:

    • Psychological screening will be performed by a professional psychologist

    • Travel to the IVF clinic your intended parent(s) is/are using for your medical screening, usually including blood and ultrasound test

  7. Step7:Legal Process

    After passing the screening, Intended Parent(s) and you will have your own attorney to help you finishing the process of legal contract. Once the legal contract is signed, the attorney will send the legal clearance letter to the IVF clinic which Intended Parent is using. Then you will move into the medical phase of the journey to embryo(s) transfer and get pregnant.

  8. Step8:Medical Process

    Fertility medicine will be taken by the requirement of IVF Doctor. Then the embryo(s) will be transferred to your uteru.Usually 10-14 days after the transfer the clinic will confirm pregnancy via blood test.

  9. Step9:Pregnancy and Delivery

    Your will be subject to the same tests as the previous pregnancy experience,Monitor fetal development until delivery. Many surrogates provide breastmilk to their intended parent(s) and baby if possible.
